Au Fil du Temps

This woven web, witnessed only by photographic images today, represents the various stages that link us to an object to which we attach little or no importance, yet where we spend almost a third of our lives: the bed.

From the act of love at the origin of our creation, to the last breath exhaled on our deathbed, this structure models the course of our lives from the point of view of our bed.

Its original flat shape metamorphoses over time to create a space into which we can slide, symbolizing the passage of our life on Earth.

It's all about passage. Passage between inside and outside, life and death, consciousness and unconsciousness.

Project made at The Beaux-Arts of Toulouse, 2011
